"Early Adopters" was curated by Adelheid Mers to investigate the relationship between the artist and the art audience.

My piece was a laundry room/war room of political spin. I invited guests to sit with me a discuss what they where looking for at the event and we would have a conversation. The talk could go anywhere...though I had prepared for three possible lines of discussion that would lead to three outcomes.

I would "spin" their responses and try to give them what they are looking for.

I would "spin" their responses into a pro-art message that would be inscribed on a name tag.

I would "spin" our conversation into a sock puppet show in which we could practice arguing for the arts.
